Greetings Brothers and Siters,

Hope all is well with you in the staes. We miss you and by God's grace will see you soon. I will pick up where I left off from last blog.

Friday, June 10

Today is somewhat of a down day as we rest and get ready for Shillong open air meeting. Had to go get money exchanged, e-mail and shop and as always hand out tracts and witness where opportunity arises. That's all for today. Julie is at home with kids and resting as we are all a little weary.

Saturday, June 11

Thangnesian and I went out to meet contacts from previous days outreaching. We were able to further shar ethe way of salvation to four men, give them Assame Bibles. Thangnesian will continue to follow up. Just after doing this one of the men called and said another friend is now interested in Jesus and wants to hear and receive Bible, praise God. One plants, the other waters but God gives the increase.

Julie did her second purity camp for the girls along with Allie. Allie also taught children's church and I spoke to the youth. The purity camp has been well attended and of course the Gospel preached.

Sunday, June 12

We leave to Shillong which is about three hours up in the mountains and my understanding a lot cooler. We will be partnering with a brother who does street ministry in the marketplace and preaching open air. We are all excited for a little different scenary and cooler weather.

Once we arrived we went and ate at a local restaurant and the food was good and the ice cream incredible, the kids loved it. We then went downtown to the market place and Brother Bantia started singing (incredible voice) and then i preached. During the service it appeared (at least outwardly) that several were broken for their sin (weeping) and then coming forward to receive Christ, be further instructed and receive literature.

Immediately a prostitute came to Julie falling down and weeping and Julie held her and prayed for her and loved on her. Some who mocked later became quiet and attentive, all in all I believe the Lord touched several, praise God.

After service, we found a place to stay owned by a lady from Texas who opened up her place (which is going to be a place for street children). What a blessing. We then went and ate a meal at another bro. place and fellowshipped with more believers. How sweet it was.

Well, that's all for now. We head back tomorrow after doing some touring of Bro. Bantia's studio ( he has a cable Christian show) and is currently shooting an updated version of the prodigal son for film, then hopefull eat and head back to Shillong. Quick trip, but fruitful. God bless you all keep praying as we are feeling a littl weary physically, mentally and spiritually.
