Today, we went up into the mountains to speak at a fellowship called Prayer Center Fellowship. I exhorted the brethren to be witnesses for Christ and taught on Biblical principles that can help them when they witness; creation, man's corruption, Christ's redemption, Consummation of all things. They requested information on where they can get materials to distribute. Thangnesian will coordinate to see this come to pass.

We then had a traditional lunch with them at the church which is made of Bamboo, yes it came with much "curry". Anyway, they told the kids that at times you can see the Cobra's in the trees and at night they hear the Tiger's howl. These believer's were mature, earnest and hungered for the word of God and have a real desire to see their people reached for Christ.

After that we went to share with a Hindu family (which includes several families) and pray for their sick dying father. I shared from Acts 17 and urged them to believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and that their objects of worship cannot bring them true spiritual life and a right relationship with the One true God. It is not much different than many who go to church in America believing themselves to be a good person, going to church and all the other religious things they do as thinking that will earn them God's acceptance. Jesus said "truly truly I say to you unless a man be born again he cannott see the kingdom of God." This does not happen through religious excercises but through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

OK enough preaching for today.

Today is somewhat bittersweet as we see Kalla off to the airport. She has been a blessing, used her gifts, ministered to children, handed out tracts sharing Christ, grown close to our kids where they played, argued, laughed and rebuked each other, praise God. The children at the El Shaddai sang special songs for her the night before she left. I know she is excited to get home and so we are excited for her as well.

Before we left a man was waiting outside our flat and asked to speak with me asking if I was a Pastor. he first had to go get medicine for his wife. I don't know if he received a tract from us our heard we are staying or exactly what he wants to visit about. Please pray. The kids are doing well, have made many friends who they play with after school and outreach and have remained healthy, praise God. Although I think they are getting ready to go home.

This morning we went out to sow the word of God. The kids wanted to stay back so Julie remained with them. I think a little homesick today, pray for them. Anyway, we went into a village that we had not entered into before. It was a Bangladeshi colony where they worked at a rock quarry, very interesting to say the least. Anyway, they were very receptive to receiving tracts, Thangnesian preached the Gospel to several who were in a group. It was great. They don't work on Sunday, so we might the last Sunday get the kids from the El Shaddai Children's home to sing songs for them and then Thangnesian preach. One person told us that no one has ever come to them before.

I also found the gentlemen that last week requested an English Bible. He wants to meet with Thangnesian and further hear of this Jesus, praise God. In addition we made many other contacts and will be visiting with several on Saturday about becoming a Christian, praise God. Each day has been a unique confirmation that our God is with us, He reigns and people will be delivered from darkness to the light. One man after reading a tract "the word became flesh" came running up to us asking fro an Assame Bible.

After that we went by several police and handed out tracts to them. They requested we see the Master in command. He invited us into his house, we visited, I gave him tracts and a CD message and we parted. Then we took pictures with the officers. I figure they are good one's to have on your side and perhaps may need them in the future. What favor the Lord gave us this week.

We ended the day by going to KFC which ended up being China Mainland restaurant. This is normal here and yet the meal was great, we chowed in a big way and gave out tracts to the waiters, which the head one was a believer and him and Thangnesian will continue relationship. We are homescik and miss you all, but each day God does something so spectacular that it presses us on to keep preaching this glorious Gospel of saving grace in Jesus Christ. We will continue to the updates. We leave for Shillong Sunday for open air preaching. Pray for us.
